Can we generate solar energy and do farming together ?

When thinking of Solar Energy, we always think of utilizing barren land areas like deserts.

A major step forward would be to utilize the same land for farming as well as putting solar panels above it.

This can be accomplished by strategically organizing  solar panels at a height  that allows farming to be continued below it. Strategically designed gaps and holes between and within panels along with specialized farming equipment would enable dual use of land in such cases.
